1 in 5 young Australians are disengaged from school. That’s thousands of students at risk of dropping out, often held back by things like bullying, mental health challenges or tough times at home.
I work to help our Brisbane City Campus students experience trade tasters, enroll in certificate training and get into apprenticeships in the Trade Industry.
That’s why I’m stepping up for the Hoops4Schools Challenge. Fundraising to give our young people a second chance to reconnect, belong and succeed.
